Referral Program Terms & Conditions

Last updated on October 08, 2025

These Referral Program Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into between you, the Referrer, and involve.me, a product of stereosense GmbH (“Program Operator”). By signing up and participating in the Referral Program, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Enrollment in the Program

To participate in the Referral Program, you must be currently on or have been previously on any paid involve.me subscription plan. Once you have a paid account, you will gain access to your unique referral link. Referrals will only count if the person you refer uses this link to sign up. In addition, you may only participate in the program if your subscription is done via card payment, as opposed to billing invoice.

In your involve.me account, you can access your referral program link & information. There will be a widget pop-up where you can track your rewards and see how many successful referrals you've made. Program Operator reserves the right to accept or reject your application at its sole discretion.

2. Referral Rewards

As a Referrer, you will earn $50 or €50 balance credits for every successful referral. These credits are not to be paid out, but will be added to your involve.me account once the referred individual subscribes to any paid subscription plan through your unique referral link. The credits will be automatically applied on any upcoming invoice, and any applicable charges for your own involve.me subscription plan will be deducted directly from the credits before any other payment methods are used.

Credit Issuance & Expiry. Credits are issued in EUR or USD, are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and expire 12 months after issuance. Credits apply to future invoices only and cannot reduce an invoice below €0.

Definition of Successful Referral. A “Successful Referral” occurs when: (a) a new customer who has not held a paid involve.me subscription within the previous 12 months signs up via the Referrer’s unique link; (b) completes a Qualifying Purchase (a paid monthly or annual plan) that remains active and not refunded for 45 consecutive days; and (c) is not the Referrer, a household member, the Referrer’s employer, or an entity sharing a payment method, corporate domain, IP address, or device fingerprint with the Referrer. Tracking relies on a 90-day, last-click attribution window; direct visits break attribution. In cases where tracking fails, Program Operator may, at its discretion, honor written proof submitted within 30 days of purchase.

Click Referral Period: Referrals are only considered for credit if they occur within 60 days of the action

3. Referral Responsibilities

You, the Referrer, agree to:

  • Promote the Program Operator’s products and services in a truthful and accurate manner.

  • Ensure that your promotional materials, including websites, emails, and advertisements, comply with applicable laws.

  • Provide truthful and complete information during the sign-up process and throughout the term of this agreement.

  • Ensure that all referrals are done through your unique referral link for the referral to be valid.

  • Do not create ads or other paid traffic that bid on the involve.me trademark/name.

4. Promotion Restrictions

While you are free to promote involve.me through various channels, the Program Operator has set some guidelines for marketing:

  • Links, Trademarks, and Logos: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use Program Operator's trademarks, logos, and materials solely for the purpose of promoting its products. This license is revocable and non-transferable. Approved assets only; no logo alteration; no misleading price claims; no posting referral links

  • Use of “involve.me”: Referrers cannot use “involve.me” in their domain names, social media usernames, or any URLs related to their referral account.

  • Spam: Sending unsolicited emails promoting involve.me is strictly prohibited. Violators may have their referral status canceled and forfeit any rewards earned.

  • Paid Search Policies: Referrers cannot bid on involve.me’s trademarked terms or use involve.me’s URLs in paid ads. They must use their own domain and keywords.

  • Cookie-Stuffing & Deceptive Practices: Referrers cannot engage in activities like cookie-stuffing, adware, or parasitic marketing.

  • Predatory Advertising: Referrers cannot steal rewards through deceptive practices, including adjusting referral links or misusing tracking systems.

  • Prohibited Incentives: Referrers cannot offer additional financial incentives, such as rebates or cash-back, for Program Operator’s products.

  • Mixing of Products: Referrers cannot promote involve.me alongside inappropriate or "adult" content.

  • Self-referral: Referrers may not use their own promotional referral links to purchase a discounted involve.me account for them or the companies where they are an employee or contractor. Referral rewards will not be honored for accounts that use the program for themselves.

  • Required Disclosures & Privacy. Referrers must clearly and conspicuously disclose their referral relationship in all promotions (e.g., “I may earn involve.me credits if you sign up.”). Referrers are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents for cookies and tracking technologies and for complying with applicable advertising and e-communications laws (including FTC/ASA/UCPD and ePrivacy rules). Unsolicited email, SMS, or direct messages are prohibited.

5. Grant of Licenses

(a) Limited License. Subject to these Terms, Program Operator grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Program Operator’s name, logos, trademarks, and approved marketing assets (“Marks”) solely to promote involve.me in connection with the Referral Program.

(b) Use Requirements. You may only use current, unmodified versions of the Marks (proportional resizing permitted). Do not combine the Marks with other branding, create confusingly similar marks, or imply sponsorship, endorsement, or an “official” partnership beyond participation in this Program. Follow any Brand Guidelines Program Operator provides and promptly implement updates.

(c) Prohibitions. You may not: (i) use “involve.me” (or confusingly similar terms) in domains, subdomains, social handles, app names, extensions, or URLs; (ii) alter, animate, or distort the Marks; (iii) make false, unsubstantiated, or outdated pricing/feature claims; (iv) post referral links or codes on coupon, voucher, or deal-aggregator sites; (v) place the Marks adjacent to adult, illegal, hateful, deceptive, or unsafe content; or (vi) register, purchase, or bid on keywords that include the Marks or their misspellings (including negative-match obligations where applicable).

(d) Takedown & Quality Control. Program Operator may review your use of the Marks. Upon notice, you must correct or remove non-compliant uses within 48 hours. Program Operator may revoke this license at any time.

(e) Ownership. All goodwill from your use of the Marks inures exclusively to Program Operator. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted—express, implied, or otherwise.

(f) No Public Relations Without Consent. Do not issue press releases or public statements about your participation in this Program without prior written approval.

6. No Misuse

Referrers agree not to use Program Operator’s system for any harmful, illegal, or misleading activities. Misuse, such as hacking or attempting to cheat the system, can lead to immediate termination of referral status.

7. Representations & Warranties

You, the Referrer, represent and warrant that:

  • This agreement is legally binding.

  • You have the authority to enter into this agreement.

  • You will not violate any third-party rights in connection with your participation in the Program.

8. Liability

The Program Operator is not responsible for indirect or incidental damages arising from system failures, loss of revenue, or referral issues.

(a) Relationship of the Parties. The parties are independent contractors. Participation in the Program does not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, franchise, employment, or exclusive relationship between you and involve.me. You have no authority to bind involve.me or make commitments on its behalf.

(b) Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to the Program or these Terms, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Subject to Section 7(c), each party’s aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Program or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (i) the total amount of referral credits actually issued to you by involve.me in the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (ii) €200 (or the equivalent in your account currency). These limitations apply in the aggregate and regardless of the number of claims.

(c) Exceptions. The limitations in Section 7(b) do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for a party’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by a party’s negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot be waived.

9. Program Changes; Notice

(a) Changes. Program Operator may update the Program or these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the referral portal or email and take effect 30 days after notice, except changes required by law, security, or abuse prevention, which may take effect immediately. Your continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

(b) Discontinuation. Program Operator may discontinue the Program. Unless required sooner by law, security, or abuse prevention, Program Operator will provide 30 days’ notice via the referral portal or email.

10. Term & Termination

(a) Term. These Terms commence when you enroll in the Program and continue until terminated under this Section. Program Operator may deem your participation terminated for inactivity if no referral activity occurs for twelve (12) consecutive months.

(b) Suspension. Program Operator may suspend or restrict your participation immediately if it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, intellectual property infringement, spam or unsolicited communications, paid-search policy violations, privacy or disclosure non-compliance, or any other breach of these Terms.

(c) Termination for Convenience. Either party may terminate participation for any reason with thirty (30) days’ notice.

(d) Termination for Cause. Program Operator may terminate participation immediately for any material breach (including those listed in Section 10(b)) or if required by law, security, or abuse-prevention considerations.

(e) Credits; Vesting; Clawbacks. Referral credits are unvested until the applicable holdback period has elapsed and no refund or chargeback has occurred (as defined in these Terms). Upon termination for cause, all unvested credits are forfeited. Program Operator may claw back any credits (including those already applied) that relate to purchases later refunded or charged back within sixty (60) days of the original transaction, or that were issued due to fraud, abuse, or tracking manipulation.

(f) Effect of Convenience Termination or Program Discontinuation. Upon termination for convenience or Program discontinuation, you must cease use of the Marks and remove referral materials. Vested credits remain usable until their stated expiry date; unvested credits are canceled.

(g) Survival. Provisions relating to ownership of Marks, license restrictions, credit expiry, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law, dispute resolution, and notices survive termination.

(h) Notices. Notices under this Section may be provided via the referral portal or to your account email address on file.
